In addition to the right fruit and a good recipe, the container plays the most important role. It must not only be airtight, but also preserve the aroma and bouquet over many months. Most importantly, it needs to keep out harmful bacteria that can penetrate via the air and the material of the container. The more airtight the container, the better the must.
We use only colourless, food-grade PE plastic for our containers. The extra-thick wall preserves the aroma and the alcohol and keeps the must fresh and lively for a long time (as opposed to cheap, thin-walled containers). The large filling dome allows you to clean by hand right into the furthest corners.
Speidel PE Fermentation Barrels provide flexibility when dealing with small volumes. The airtight seal not only preserves aroma and flavour for several months, but most importantly it keeps out harmful bacteria that often spoil liquor stored in inferior and inadequate vessels.

The fully automatic control system brews with preset or your own individual recipes. The ingenious twist of the Braumeister is that the malt is not washed out by a stirring device, but by gently circulating the wort. This way nothing burns and it does not have to be stirred during the brewing phases. Due to the direction of flow against gravity, the malt loosens up during pump breaks and the malt is washed out optimally and gently for a more intensive malt aroma. Mashing, lautering, hop boiling and, with the appropriate accessories, even fermenting – everything takes place in one kettle. This makes brewing beer so easy and clean.
The touchscreen control unit controls the brewing process fully automatically. Time and temperature are precisely maintained in all brewing phases. The control system can be programmed with preset or individual recipes. The brewing guide leads through the brewing process and displays the exact ingredients including quantities for each step. A convenient new feature is the timer function for starting the brewing process. Simply set the desired time and the Braumeister starts automatically. This makes brewing beer even easier.
With the integrated Wi-Fi module you can synchronize your recipes with the Braumeister and monitor and control it during the brewing process in your own Wi-Fi network. The Braumeister is made almost entirely of stainless steel and impresses with its high-quality workmanship – Made in Germany!

Biodynamic fermentation in the egg shape corresponds to the golden ratio without corners and edges. Wine, must and beer can move freely during the fermentation phase and storage. This makes the process gentler and allows the drink to fully develop.
The idea of fermentation or maturation in the egg is a return to ancient methods but with new materials. Even in ancient times, alcohol was matured in egg-shaped amphorae. After successful tests with egg-shaped fermentation containers made of concrete for winemaking in recent years, Speidel has now developed the fermentation egg made of food-safe polyethylene.
The oxygen permeability of the food-safe plastic allows an even influence of oxygen and thus ensures an ideal process of fermentation and maturation. After fermentation, the smooth inner surface is very easy to clean.
